How to play Snakes & Ladders

1. Two to four players start outside the board. Roll to enter and move from 1 toward 100.
2. Land at a ladder’s base to climb or a snake’s head to slide. Reach 100 with an exact roll; an overshoot leaves you where you are.
3. Turns pass after every roll, including a six. The first to reach 100 wins.
4. Computer players roll automatically. This is a game of chance, so computer difficulty has no effect.

Play your way

Choose computer opponents or pass and play with friends on the same device. Progress is saved locally in your browser. You can resume games, start again, and read the rules while playing.

Can I play offline?

Yes. Open the game collection while connected first so it can save its offline files. Continue in the same browser and device. Clearing browser storage removes local saves. The rules page is also available in the offline cache.
